We just landed in Athens and checked into our hotel.  Free internet access.  But our converter doesn’t work, so my battery will probably only allow for 23 minutes of computer time.

A few thoughts:

• Why are airplane blankets so small?
• Why do children feel the need to kick the back of the seat in front of them?
• Why don’t the people working at the check-in counter take any pride in their work?
• Why don’t the people working at the TCBY at JFK take any pride in their work?
• Why do Greek people hate organized lines (queues, for my English readers)?
• Why did I forget the battery and charger for my new Bose noise-canceling headphones????  WHY????

I think we’ll take quick naps, and then head out on the town.
