The friendly folks at Tuck Computing recently introduced me to SyncToy, and it is AWESOME.  It’s a very simple Microsoft application that allows you to easily sync files between multiple computers and hard drives.

If you’re like me, you’ve made several back-ups of your computer, but your hard drive quickly got full.  You then spent hours de-duping files, trying to make room on the drive.  Ultimately, your spouse yells “Pull yourself away from the computer!” and you wonder where the time went.

Now, I copy files effortlessly from my computers to my hard drives.  My two external drives automatically mirror each other, so when I add music to drive A (called “Morpheus”), it automatically copies those files to drive B (called “Seraph”).  And vice-versa.

I’m so happy.
