As some of you know, I am involved in a startup with some friends from Tuck.  We are looking to get some some feedback from people about some of our ideas, and we want to set up a website to give people a chance to share their thoughts.  We would need to password-protect the site and control access to specific users.

Does anyone know of any good applications for this?  We don’t want to use Facebook.  We checked out Google Groups, but it seems to work best as a way to manage email lists, not discussions.

Does Wordpress have any ‘forum’ features?
