Today, Rudy Guiliani announced his support for abortion rights, gun control, and gay rights. New York Times coverage here. Is it possible that a Republican with a brain can win the nomination?

I doubt it.

It will be very difficult to get past the 60% of Republicans that believe homosexuals will burn in Hell. (I made that number up. Anyone know of any real studies?)

Rudy is taking a risk and saying what he thinks.  I like that, especially since I agree with what he’s saying.

That said, I remember reading a bunch of anti-hero stuff about Rudy…something about him being a fascist or something.  Does anyone know where I might have seen that?
