Jack Stanley Herbert was born Tuesday night at 11:27 pm. Weighing in at 8lbs 14.3oz (4036 grams), and measuring 19 inches (48.5 cm), Jack came into the world with a full head of hair and dark blue eyes. We’re keeping a wary eye on the other parents in the hospital, because it’s clear that little Jack is the cutest baby here! 
We had quite an adventure, starting with a false alarm on Monday morning, and ending with 25 hours of labor and then a C-section! Dad couldn’t be prouder of Mom, and actually feels a whole new dimension of love and admiration for her (and all Moms!). Greta is happy, healthy and recovering nicely in Stamford Hospital.
Dad, if anyone cares, is exhausted but beaming.
